Ounce Spray Bottle (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty) I used this as a fungicide to control dampen fungus (I think that's what it's called - it can happen when an area of soil is kept really moist for an extended period of time) from growing on new cactuses I was cultivating. It was especially pleased that it also contained an insecticide so I wouldn't have to buy a different type of chemical later on. Sadly, I never got to see its insecticide ability. It was completely unable to control the dampen fungus which seemingly grew unchecked. I'm displeased to say that the fungus killed all my cactuses in early germination.
An interesting thing is that since then I've removed the cactus soil form the moist area and just left it out and sprayed the layer of fungus down really heavy with this product to see if it'd kill it. It didn't. Perhaps it's an excellent insecticide, maybe it works for other fungus's, and it's also possible I did something wrong (although I think spraying it down is rather idiot proof, who knows), but... Ounce Spray Bottle (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty) Some of my extensive plant collection can't tolerate horticultural oils, so I've recently begun using this to cut down on pests. It seems to be making a good dent in them and it doesn't leave a buildup on the plants. I'm on my third bottle so far and every one of them has leaked and dribbled when spraying. It's been impossible to spray without getting spots all over the floor and running down my hands so I've taken to carrying a hand towel underneath. A real weakness in the delivery system here. I'm also not sure that you couldn't just mix up something like this with dish detergent and essential oils yourself. In any case, I've been pleased with it but think I will buy my own spray bottle to put it in. It's not cheap and you shouldn't have to do that.
