This year, I purchased two bottles and neither sprayer worked, water came out but the insect repellant stayed in the bottle. Next time at Menards, I purchased two more bottles, same result, even tried mixing different heads on the bottles, wasted an hour, the bugs win this time. Since we have relatively short summers, I look forward to the summer season to enjoy the outdoors, but mosquitoes will literally ruin the summer season if not treated. In addition, mosquitoes carry West Nile Disease, and a dear friend several houses away contracted this disease while working in his yard. He was severely ill for months, and was lucky to survive. To protect my family, I decided to take my yard back from the blood-sucking, disease-carrying demoms. I first tried one of the mosquitoe magnet devices, Mosquito Magnet MM4000 Defender Mosquito Trap,but despite its great hype (and price!), it did not eliminated the biting tormentors. The dispensing system doesn't work at all. I bought two bottles and, with each, spent about 45 minutes spraying the lawn while getting eaten by mosquitoes before realizing that not a single drop of teh active ingredients were actually getting dispensed out the hose. Fortunately I had an older bottle with a better dispenser and used that bottle to spray. Unfortunately, that dispenser eventually fell apart, and when I needed a new bottle, I was back with the latest dispenser. For this third bottle, the entire dispenser blew up in my face when I turned on the nozzle, so I got the chemical in my eyes, my mouth, my hair, everywhere. Absolute POS. The people at Cutter should be mortified that they sell a product that is this crappy. |
